The JAVARO B2B application is designed to help distributors browse fashion catalogues, discover products, shortlist items, select sizes and colours, and place wholesale orders through a tablet-first experience. The platform also supports order tracking, distributor targets, and admin tools for managing accounts and orders.

THE PROBLEM & OPPORTUNITY

Where Wholesale Ordering Gets Complicated

Distributors struggled to find products, manage size and colour combinations, and place wholesale orders, while administrators relied on scattered data to manage distributors, track targets, and monitor performance. This created an opportunity to bring product discovery, bulk ordering, order visibility, and business performance tracking into one streamlined, tablet-first platform.

THE SOLUTION

Simplifying Wholesale Ordering for Distributors

JAVARO brings product discovery, bulk ordering, and order tracking together for distributors, while giving administrators a unified view of distributor management, sales targets, and business performance. The experience is designed to simplify wholesale operations through clear navigation, structured information, and task-focused interfaces.

research & discovery

Understanding the Business Before Designing the Experience

Explored JAVARO’s wholesale business, distributor and administrator requirements, and relevant UX patterns to identify workflow challenges and define opportunities for a more connected, efficient, tablet-first B2B ordering experience.

Key Insights

Wholesale ordering needs a connected workflow.

Distributors need to discover products, select colours and sizes, manage quantities, and place bulk orders without fragmented steps.

Administrators need clear business visibility.

Managing distributor accounts, orders, and sales targets requires a centralised view to track performance and identify gaps.

Different users need different experiences.

Distributors need a product-focused ordering experience, while administrators need a data-focused management interface.

VISUAL ASTHETIC

A Consistent Design Language

Applied JAVARO’s existing visual language across distributor and administrator workflows, using consistent typography, colour, reusable components, and tablet layouts to support product discovery, bulk ordering, and business management.

FINAL EXPERIENCE

Connecting Wholesale Purchasing and Business Operations

JAVARO brings distributor purchasing and administrative operations together in a unified, tablet-first B2B platform. Each experience is designed around the user’s needs, making wholesale ordering simpler and business operations easier to manage.

Distributor Experience: Discover seasonal collections, explore products, select sizes and colours, shortlist styles, and place bulk orders through a streamlined purchasing journey.

Solution & Outcomes

Designed JAVARO as a tablet-first B2B platform connecting distributor purchasing with administrative operations. The distributor flow simplifies product discovery and bulk ordering, while the admin flow supports distributor management, order oversight, and sales target tracking. The solution brings both user groups into a more structured experience with clearer workflows and better operational visibility.

What i learned

This project strengthened my understanding of designing for two distinct user groups with connected goals. I learned to translate business requirements into user-focused workflows, structure complex features through information architecture, and apply UX patterns to reduce friction. It also reinforced the importance of balancing usability, data visibility, and business needs in enterprise B2B experiences.
